Meet Our Pastors
dr. Chad & Mendy Flowers
Pastor Chad Flowers has been serving Emmanuel Pentecostal Church since 2007, starting as Youth Pastor, then Assistant Pastor, and now Senior Pastor since 2020. With a Master’s in Counseling and extensive experience evangelizing across Texas, he leads EPC with heart and dedication.
Mendy Flowers has been part of EPC since 2008, overseeing church operations and serving as Children’s Ministry Director since 2019. She brings passion and care to every ministry she leads. She holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from Texas State University.
Together, Chad and Mendy are blessed with three children: Jadyn McKenzie, Keira Analise, and Chandler Dyson. They are committed to guiding and shepherding the EPC family with love and faith.

Richard & renee Flowers
Bishop & wife
Reverend and Mrs. Richard Flowers were elected Senior Pastor and wife of EPC in 1980. They served as devoted and compassionate shepherds, faithfully caring for every member, guest, and the surrounding community. Following their faithful years of leadership, a pastoral transition took place, and their son, Dr. Chad Flowers, now serves as Senior Pastor of EPC.
Bishop Flowers also served as the North Texas District Superintendent for approximately ten years, faithfully supporting churches throughout the district. Renee stood faithfully by his side throughout this season of service to the North Texas District.
Bishop Flowers and Renee have been married for 49 years and have two sons: Chad (and wife Mendy) and Chase (and wife Krista). They are the proud grandparents of six grandchildren: Jadyn, Keira, Cade, Chandler, Cash and Kallie who bring them great joy.

Simeon & Janice Young
Pastoral Elder
Reverend Simeon and wife Janice Young assumed the office of Pastoral Elder in the spring of 2013. They bring a wealth of experience and wisdom to the EPC congregation, having served in the ministry for 58 years, and as a senior pastor for 35 years. Rev. Young also served as editor of the Pentecostal Herald, an international magazine for Pentecostal believers, until his retirement in December 2014.
Rev. Young attended Western Apostolic Bible College. He and Janice have two children and four grandchildren.

Adrian & laura Oliveira
worship Ministries
Adrian and Laura hail from the beautiful country of Brazil where they served in various ministries, including music and social media. After Adrian graduated from Texas Bible College in May 2023, he returned to Brazil to marry his sweetheart and bring her back to the US to minister alongside him. Together, they make a great team as he ministers in music, and she assists with social media, marketing and event planning. They enjoy life together with Jazzy, their playful and beloved miniature Australian Shepherd pup

shanna brookshire
Children's ministry
Shanna is a dynamic leader! She and the Pastor's Wife lead our Wednesday and Sunday Children's Ministry teams that comprise of approximately 25 volunteers who serve weekly. Shanna is passionate about the salvation of our children. Thus, she works with the pastoral team to be creative in her approach to teaching every child about Jesus Christ in a fun and demonstrative manner. Worship is a key element that is implemented each week whether in our collective time of worship and music or in the classroom setting.

Sam & Sabrina Bailey
Pastoral assistant & STUDENT MINISTRIES
Samuel is a 2019 graduate of Indiana Bible College in Indianapolis, IN, with a major in Missiology. After graduation, Sam pursued his love for ministry and joined our team as Pastoral Assistant to the Senior Pastor. In October 2022, Sam began leading our Student Ministries. Each Wednesday, students gather for worship and a dynamic time in the Word, and each Sunday they participate in interactive classes. Throughout the year, Sam also organizes special events and activities to engage and inspire students.
Sam is married to Sabrina Bailey, who is currently working toward becoming a teacher and serves in the Magnify Choir in North Texas. Together, they are faithfully leading and guiding the Student Ministries with passion and dedication.

glenda cohron
church treasurer
Glenda has been a faithful volunteer in any aspect of ministry with a need for many years. Glenda has managed our Life Lines Bookstore from the conception. She continues to see this as a ministry and takes pride in providing the congregation with this amenity.
As well, Glenda is the primary contact when the EPC facilities are rented for outside events and ministry events. She shares her experience of decor and event directing.
Glenda became employed by the church when she became the Church Treasurer in February 2011. She works with the church administration on managing funds and budgeting for upcoming transactions. We are grateful for her love for the work of God in all she does.
Renee taylor
administrative assistant
Shortly after Renee Taylor and her late husband relocated to the Dallas Area, she became an integral part of ministry at Emmanuel. In addition to her roles in Music Ministry, Student Ministry and Nursery Ministry, Renee serves gladly as Administrative Assistant during the week.
Renee enjoys her family, daughter, Evelyn and husband, Mike and their 4 children, and daughter, Crystle.

Jesus Molina
facilities manager
After many years of servicing the church as a volunteer and upon retirement, Jesus was added to the team in 2016. He has been a valuable part ever since. The campus is well taken care of and continues to serve our church needs due to him as a wonderful asset.
Jesus is married to Mary Beth. Together, they enjoy their family, Jonathan with wife, Nayeli and granddaughter, Sienna and daughter Lorna.
JOE & RHONDA THOMAS
CONNECT TEAM DIRECTORS
Joe and Rhonda Thomas have been a part of EPC since July 2016, when they moved from Alabama to Texas. They began their EPC ministry teaching in the Youth Sunday School class for several years and served as VBS Directors from 2020-2024.
They currently serve as EPC’s Connect Team Leaders, working with the Parking/Safety, Hosting, and Usher ministries to help create a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for all who attend EPC. They oversee Guest Services and assist in various administrative areas.
Joe and Rhonda have been married since 1982 and are the proud parents of two licensed ministers, Kendal and his wife Yvonne’, Assistant Pastor of Apostolic Revival Church in Southaven, MS and Tyler and his wife Vanessa, Pastor of Faith Temple in Dubuque, IA. They also have five grandchildren: Amidei, Abigail, Mikayla, Josiah, and Rylie and a Pomeranian princess named Dixie.
